Cellusorb
has been designed to be used for small-scale spills on docks, harbours,
wharves, marinas, shipyards, refuelling depots, reefs, mangrove areas -
wherever an oil spill could occur.
Cellusorb
may be used
on its own (loose) or in the form of socks, booms, pillows, bilge
'rats'
or absorbent mats. Cellusorb can be spread over a spill surface,
and unlike most absorbents, will absorb trace oils and eliminate sheen.
Cellusorb is
particularly
well suited as a filtration medium for removing hydrocarbon liquids
from
storm water collection units, sump pits and interceptor systems.
